At Bdd Oke Cars, we attach great importance to transparency and trust. That is why we clearly explain below what the legal warranty entails when you buy a used car from us.

✔️ Legal warranty – 12 months

If you buy a used car as a private individual at Bdd Oke Cars, you benefit from the legal warranty of 12 months, as provided for by Belgian law.

This warranty protects you against hidden defects that:

Were already present at the time of delivery, and

Make the vehicle unfit for normal use.

When assessing the warranty, the age, mileage and purchase price of the vehicle are taken into account.

🔧 What do you have a guarantee?

You have a warranty on important mechanical and technical parts necessary to use the vehicle safely and normally, provided that the defect already existed at the time of delivery.

This may be covered by the warranty:

Engine (internal parts such as engine block, crankshaft, pistons and camshaft)

Gearbox (manual or automatic)

Drivetrain (differential and drive shafts)

Essential electronic systems necessary for vehicle operation

Safety systems such as ABS, ESP and power steering

❌ What do you have no guarantee?

The statutory warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or maintenance.

This is not covered by the warranty:

Wear parts such as:

Tires

Brake

Link

Timing belt

Battery

Filters, oil and liquids

Maintenance

Damage due to misuse, negligence or accidents

Aesthetic damage such as scratches, dents or normal interior wear

Defects that occur after delivery due to normal use

📢 What should you do in case of a problem?

If you note a problem, we ask you to:

Report the problem to Bdd Oke Cars within two months of determination

Not to have repairs carried out without prior consent

In this way, we can quickly and correctly search for a suitable solution together.

🔄 What happens in a valid warranty case?

If the problem is covered by the legal warranty, Bdd Oke Cars will:

Repair the defect, or

Offer an appropriate and legally required solution.

This is always done in consultation with the customer and in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

The legal guarantee applies only to private customers

When selling to professionals (B2B), other conditions may apply

This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights
